MAN has won a follow-on to its existing contract with the MoD. The new agreement will see MAN supplying 2,077 trucks to further support the main order for 5,200 trucks which MAN won in March 2005. The total value of the order has thereby increased to around £1.11 billion.
The additional order comprises mainly four and eight wheeled vehicles, to be delivered between 2007 and 2013. The SX and HX ranges from MAN Nutzfahrzeuge were specially developed for off-road deployment.
