Metrologic Instruments has launched two new mobile computers.
The SP5650 OptimusRW model, incorporates real-time wireless data transfer technology into a unit that easily integrates with existing infrastructures for immediate updates up to 250 ms from host system.
For batch data collection, OptimusRW comes with 256KB of data memory with an option to increase to; 2MB, 4MB or 8MB.
Metrologic says that the SP5600 OptimusR batch data collection mobile computer, can rapidly and easily handle uploading and downloading of data via the Direct Connection option, which lowers cost of ownership by making a separate terminal cradle unnecessary.
OptimusR comes with 2MB of data memory and additional memory options of 4MB or 8MB for accommodating larger inventories. The Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery allows for 200 hours of scanning operation.
