HelioSlough’s rail freight depot proposal for Radlett, Hertfordshire, faces opposition from residents.
A new organisation calling itself LOOPS (Lorries Out Of Park Street) plans to oppose the 3.5 million sq ft scheme by the Helios Properties and Slough Estates joint venture on the 250-acre former Radlett Airfield.
A planning application is expected shortly but will almost definitely go to a public inquiry. A recent LOOPS meeting attracted some 200 people.
