The charity CLIC Sargent, which cares for children suffering from cancer, called on Circle Express, to aid it in a crucial CD launch for the World Cup. Distribution of thousands of CDs to Virgin and HMV stores was delayed because of technical problems, and with 24 hours to go before the first England game, 120 stores had no stock.
Circle Express provided the logistics ex-gratia to the charity and received the CDs at midnight prior to the launch. All 120 deliveries were made on time the following day.
