Euro Food Brands has awarded TNT Network Logistics a new warehousing and distribution contract. The Northampton-based Euro Food Brands manages the distribution of European food brands including; De Cecco pasta, Illy coffee and Carapelli olive oil.
The operation will run from TNT Network Logistics depot at Corby in Northamptonshire, one of 19 facilities the company operates throughout the UK, from where orders will be picked in both case and full pallet loads, with some items re-worked and repacked for sale.
Tim Robinson, finance director, Euro Food Brands says: “We chose TNT Network Logistics because it has the expertise and the network already in place to deliver products into the supermarket regional distribution centres.
“We have had a relationship for some time with TNT Network Logistics through their primary consolidation centre at their Wisbech depot and we felt they could offer us the same high quality service for the rest of our business.”
