The first Renault Midlum Euro 4 has gone into service with TNT.
The truck was supplied through Renault Trucks Chiltern, has an 18ft box van with tuck away tail lift. The Renault Midlum 160.08 has been given TNT’s distinctive orange livery and will be used for the daily collection and delivery of parcels and mail.
The new Midlum will join the company’s Nottingham-based fleet, which already includes a number of Renault Trucks.
Steve Davis, TNT national engineering manager says: “We have been very impressed with the fuel efficiency of our existing Euro 3 models and so had no hesitation in trying the new Renault Midlum 160.08 Euro 4 model.
“We expect the Euro 4 model to provide even greater fuel economy and its advanced technology to give an improved overall performance.”
