Wincanton, has been awarded a three-year extension to its contract with BP Lubricants which will see Wincanton managing the warehousing and distribution of both bulk and packaged lubricants throughout the UK.
The operation is managed from a dedicated 120,000 square foot national distribution centre in Stanlow. A semi-automated high bay and a manual low bay provides storage for packaged lubricants and handles more than five million cases a year.
More than 40 articulated and rigid vehicles perform the distribution function.
