Clipper Secure Logistics has consolidated its tobacco and bonded operations at its Rotherham shared-user facility and doubled the workforce on site to 90.
The move has been made to allow growth in its dedicated contracts at its other site in Brighouse.
The high security 180,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham is situated on an 11-acre site where Clipper Secure logistics operates a fully bonded warehouse, supported by a fleet fitted with satellite tracking and specialised alarm systems for the distribution of the high value products.
The Rotherham site has 21,000 pallet locations with full in-rack sprinkler facilities and 24 hour security and alarm detection systems.
Nigel Hinds, operations director said: “The consolidation of some of our highly secure products has given our customers based in Rotherham and Brighouse room to expand their contracts.”
