In one of the biggest warehouse lettings in Andover in six years, kitchenware maker Le Creuset has taken 60,000 sq ft of distribution and office space within SSI Schaefer’s headquarters building on the Walworth Road Industrial Estate.
The deal was made possible when SSI Schaefer reorganised its business releasing 52,000 sq ft of distribution space and 8,000 sq ft of offices.
Le Creuset has taken a straight ten-year lease at a rent of £5.50 per sq ft. A three-week rent holiday was agreed.
Le Creuset had been in the market for some two years before King Sturge was able to entice them to take up SSI Schaefer’s space in Andover.
