Paul Cunningham, previously a partner at LCP Consulting, has been appointed managing director of Holistica Solutions, the new joint venture between APL Logistics and Christian Salvesen.
David Appleton, NOL group’s president europe region, said: “Paul Cunningham’s appointment marks the next phase of Holistica’s development in providing integrated logistics management from sourcing to final delivery. His global experience in both manufacturing and retail sectors as a supply chain director and logistics consultant will be invaluable in building the company.”
Stewart Oades, chief executive officer of Christian Salvesen, said: “Paul has a solid understanding of customers’ needs from his time with companies such as Asda-Wal*Mart, the Dixons Group, Rank Hovis Mcdougall and ExxonMobil,” He said that Cunningham had a “reputation as a catalyst for change” and that it would be a major asset.

Holistica Solutions was formed in December 2005 to offer customers an end-to-end supply chain solutions using APL Logistics’ shipping and Salvesen’s warehousing and distribution skills.
