Renault Trucks has launched the Maxity, a small truck with a big look.
The new truck bears a striking resemblance to its bigger counterparts. Renault says: “The Renault Maxity is a true small truck, with an exterior design that is characteristic of the Renault family.”
The new 3.5 tonne truck, will join the company’s Delivery Range from March 2007.
A spokesperson for Renault said that the new truck is available for anyone with a regular car licence to drive and comes in three engine sizes: 110, 130 and 150 hp.
Renault says that the new cab over engine design offers operators significant operational cost savings. It also said that the interior provides a high level of comfort and functionality, combined with excellent driving position ergonomics.
