Mike Watson Transport (MWT) has joined the Palletforce network and will cover the areas of Alton, Guildford, Petworth, Petersfield and Farnham.
Mike Watson, director at MWT, said: “Becoming a member of the Palletforce network is a key milestone for MWT, and will offer huge advantages for both our existing and potential customers.”
He said that the membership shareholder structure in particular appealed to him “as each member has an active role in the operations of the network.”
Hampshire-based haulier MWT is also expanding its operations to accommodate a new dedicated 10,000 sq ft depot in Alton, with a further two vehicles being added to its fleet.
The new facility is expected to be completed in early 2007.
