Korean forklift manufacturer, Doosan Infracore, has announced it will drop the Daewoo name from all forklifts and construction equipment from January 2007. Currently badged “Doosan Daewoo” the company’s latest machines and new product range, to be launched at IMHX 2007, will be branded Doosan and will adopt the orange colour styling currently seen on the company’s earth movers, skid steer loaders and other construction equipment.
The move marks the end of the Daewoo name on vehicles of any type, leaving the Daewoo electronics business the sole user of the Daewoo name in the UK.
