Courtenham Logistic Solutions has opened a new £1m distribution facility at Courtenham, Essex, with upgraded product fulfilment capabilities.
Julien Courtauld, who founded the business in 1972, said: “Courtenham is now a modern third party logistics provider, giving our clients the benefits of efficient warehousing, inventory, preparation and dispatch. But we are still pleased to be able to offer the smaller company the high level of personal attention it deserves.”
The new centre includes a modern warehouse with integrated control systems including volumetric measuring, which accurately monitors the weight of goods, goods to man picking equipment and a new computerised warehouse management system.
