By wpengineUPS predicts that the number of goods it handles will surge from some 15 million packages a day to more than 21 million on Wednesday 20 December, its busiest day of the year.
The largest volume of air shipments is expected to take place on 22 December, when it will deliver some 5.6 million packages – more than double the average.
