The GMB union has cancelled a planned strike at JJB Sports’ Martland distribution centre on Tuesday 21st November and is recommending that its members accept a revised pay offer.
The offer will be put to union members at a meeting on Monday. That meeting will also decide if further strikes on the 22nd and 23rd will go ahead.
The Employment Agencies Standards Inspectorate is investigating the actions of three recruitment agencies, after the GMB accused them of engaging in strikebreaking.
