By wpengineRyder is to spend £15.7 million next year on 671 rental vehicles, ranging from 3.5 tonne vans to 18 tonne trucks.
The company has a “significantly increased appetite” for the rental market after seeing impressive growth during the second half of 2006, according to managing director Peter Backhouse.
It currently has 2,500 rental vehicles.
