Logistics legend John Harvey is back. Keswick Enterprises, Harvey’s investment vehicle, has bought DDS (Corby), the warehouse and delivery company, and renamed it Enterprise Logistics.
Steve Brimfield, who worked with Harvey at Tibbett & Britten, has been named chairman of Enterprise which operates from a 210,000 sq ft warehouse in Eismann Way, Corby.
Enterprise provides warehousing, storage, cross-docking and despatch services along with a range of remediation packaging and picking operations.
Brimfield said: “This is a very positive development for us. We can access support from Keswick and will benefit from its experience and investments in joint ventures and strategic involvements in a number of businesses operating in 10 European countries.
Harvey set up Keswick Enterprises in 2004 to invest in privately-owned logistics and supply chain related businesses.
