NYK Logistics has won an expanded contract with LG Electronics, and will now handle a new home delivery service.
Goods will be picked from NYK’s Blackmills distribution centre and forwarded to its high security facility at Marston Gate. There, they will then be organised onto home delivery routes for next day distribution.
NYK will soon handle LG’s full range of electronic products, including plasma and LCD televisions, domestic appliances, IT products, air conditioning and mobile phones.
NYK has been working with the South Korean company since 2002.
