International Timber has started tracking shipments at its Grangemouth site using an RF barcode system.
The system, installed by Barcoding.co.uk, uses hand-held scanners to collect data for transfers and goods receipt across the entire site.
Alan Mullarkey, IT support manager at International Timber said: “Timber is traditionally a very low tech industry but Barcoding.co.uk has been instrumental in building what we believe is the most advanced system of its type in the industry.”
