Woodward Foodservices has taken a 85,422 sq ft warehouse at Boultbee, Innovate and Schroders’ Zenith2 development in Deykin Avenue, Witton, Birmingham.
As a part of its continued expansion, Woodward has moved into the recently completed speculative warehouse and agreed a 10-year lease at a rent close to the asking figure of £5.75 per sq ft.
Carl Durrant of King Sturge, which is joint letting agent with Jones Lang LaSalle, said: “There is currently strong demand for good quality industrial space in the Birmingham area and developers who are confident enough to take the risk are embarking upon speculatively-built schemes.
