A 150,000 sq ft national distribution centre for NHS Scotland, which was taken on a 25-year lease with 15 year break option at Canderside Toll Larkhall at junction 8 of the M74, is nearing completion.
The new NHS national distribution facility forms part of the Scottish Executive’s public sector cost savings initiative – by centralising NHS distribution the aim is to secure significant cost savings for NHS Scotland.
It has been built by Clowes Developments. NHS also have an option to double the size of the facility within five years.
