Prestons of Potto has ordered 80 Tautliners from Boalloy. It has taken delivery of 60 with the remainder due by March.
Each trailer will operate with an overall height of 4.4m. They are all fitted with flush rear doors and incorporate a heavy-duty front bulkhead design with external tree branch protectors at the top.
Prestons expects to operate them for seven years on general haulage, before adapting them to run as flatbeds on general steel work operations.
