The Europe West Indies Line’s (EWL) has expanded its services from Felixstowe.
The main EWL service running between Europe, the Caribbean and Central America has been expanded to six vessels, five at 1,100 TEUs and one at 1,300 TEUs operating a fixed day weekly rotation calling at Felixstowe every Saturday.
The service now also includes a direct Canadian call into the Port of Halifax with a twelve day transit time between Felixstowe and Canada.
The inaugural vessel on this service to call at Felixstowe was the EWL Canada which was carrying the first reefer containers moving under EWL’s recently acquired contract with banana importers Fyffes.
