Ford has chosen Penske Logistics to provide material planning and handling services at its Transit van plant in Southampton.
Ford, which produces some 80,000 Transit vans a year, has a longstanding relationship with Penske in the United States.
Erik van Egmond, managing director of Penske Logistics in Europe, said” “We are very pleased to now be working with Ford Motor Company in Europe and we welcome into the Penske family the highly capable employees joining us from their previous contractor.”
