The British International Freight Association is looking for a new director general to replace Colin Beaumont.
The new Director General will be tasked with continuing to develop BIFA’s four key objectives – representation and lobbying; the provision of advice and information; promotion; and training.
“BIFA is the established representative body for the international freight industry. It will be critical that the new director general is able to provide the sort of leadership that will enable members to develop in the global economy against a background of ever changing customer demands and new legislation,” said Beaumont.
Last year plans to appoint Quentin Rappoport fell through owing to ill health.
George Henderson Recruitment Group is working with BIFA to find a new candidate, with the aim to find someone within the year.
Colin Beaumont will remain in the role until a suitable candidate is found.
