Oakland International is launching a parcel service for sending chilled and frozen samples through an ambient supply chain.
The Nippy service will initially only be available within the UK, but Oakland plans to launch an overseas service within the year.
Managing director Dean Attwell said: “The Nippy opens up fresh opportunities as it makes it financially viable to send small perishable sample products to potential customers.”
It is capable of maintaining chilled temperatures for up to 48 hours, even in an ambient supply chain.
