Carpet and floor covering retailer Carpetright has consolidated all its cutting and distribution facilties into one location at Gazeley and Standard Life Investments’s 492,000 sq ft Ultrabox logistics facility in Purfleet.
The retailer has signed a 25 year lease at a rent thought to be in the region of £7 per sq ft. Standard Life Investments and Gazeley were represented by CB Richard Ellis and Savills, while Carpetright was unrepresented.
