Simpson Strong-Tie a specialist in connectors for the construction industry has awarded its UK distribution contract to Palletways.
Palletways will handle around 40,000 pallet consignments each year from Simpson’s factory in Tamworth, via its Lichfield hub.
John Phipps, director of manufacturing at Simpson Strong-Tie, said that Palletways was chosen because it was “able to provide the highest level of service to our customers”.
Stargate Logistics would allow it to deliver on a next day basis throughout Scotland, including the most Northern areas, he said.
