Sun Chemical Europe has awarded a five-year contract to Kuehne and Nagel.
Under the terms of the deal the company will integrate and manage the transport network for Sun and will manage its flow and carrier movement for more than 50 Sun sites and shipping points around the world.
It will also integrate Sun’s 150 sub-contracted carriers across Europe into its Luxembourg-based transport and workflow management system.
Matthias Dollak, Sun’s supply chain director, said that the new deal provide “high visibility of our logistic operations, allowing us to increase our ability to react to fluctuations from production through to delivery, improve lead times and further enhance our customer service levels.”
