B&Q is to install Voxware’s VoiceLogistics software in its Preston Brook distribution centre in Runcorn, using sixty MC3090 terminals from Motorola.
Scott Yetter, Voxware president said that there are an increasing number of retailers adopting voice technology.
Waitrose has been using the technology for the past two years and recently expanded its use of voice logistics software.
Mike Wooldridge, manager distribution of projects for Waitrose said that the retailer had seen impressive results so far and plans to use the software in four more distribution centres by the end of 2007.
