Toyota Industrial Equipment (UK) and BT Rolatruc are combining to form Toyota Material Handling UK (TMHUK).
Mike Mathias from BT Rolatruc will head the new organisation, while Steve Hodkinson of Toyota will become deputy managing director.
Toyota said the joint operation would be able to offer both Toyota and BT products and services to customers through one single marketing and sales company.
TMHUK is expected to become operational before the end of 2007 and will create around 200 sales and service jobs.
