Diane Carter, Sainsbury’s zone managing director (East), is to become ECR UK’s new retail co-chair succeeding Martin Oakes. She will work alongside Chris Tyas, ECR UK’s supplier co-chair, to continue to deliver industry-wide improvements in availability, distribution and retail packaging through collaboration.
Carter was retail co-chair of the ECR availability working group from 2005 until 2007and helped to deliver the ECR UK industry availability survey; a number of ECR guidelines on availability; and has driven on-shelf availability in the UK to new levels.
