The owner of Culina Logistics is investing a seven-figure sum in Baylis Logistics, the company that is now run by former Culina managing director Thomas van Mourik.
Luxembourg-based TML-Invest is the private investment vehicle of Theo Müller, sole shareholder of the Müller Group whose UK operations include Culina.
Baylis company secretary Nigel Jury said: “Theo Müller knows from his own experience what Thomas can do with a supply chain business and he is keen to support and to share in the success of someone he knows very well and holds in high regard. This is a private investment that will be ploughed straight into our operational improvement programme to enhance the level and range of services we offer.”
