Kenmore has completed the refurbishment of a 180,000 sq ft warehouse at the 530,000 sq ft South Wales Distribution Centre at Kenfig.
Joint property agents Gerald Eve and Knight Frank have been appointed.
Richard Gatehouse, partner at the Cardiff office of Gerald Eve, is anticipating considerable interest in the complex following Kenmore’s refurbishment initiative: “South Wales Distribution Centre now provides an excellent distribution offer that is well situated to serve the whole of South Wales and the south east and south west of England. Good eaves height, flexible loading options, competitive terms and the ability to split the space to suit an occupier’s specific requirement are key features of the facility that give it a real edge over the competition.”
Owen Pritchard, head of industrial agency for Knight Frank’s Cardiff office, adds: “The South Wales Distribution Centre offers good quality premises for manufacturing, storage or distribution purposes. The centre also benefits from being located in an RSA grant tier 1 area. We can accommodate requirements of 60,000 sq ft plus. There are few facilities along the M4 corridor in South Wales offering such good quality space for circa £2 per sq ft.”
