Evans has signed two more deals at the Follingsby Park industrial scheme in Gateshead. Epros and Freespirit leisure have both taken warehousing space joining companies such as Initial City Link and Royal Mail.
Ross Dixon, lettings manager at Evans said: “Follingsby provides a large variety of accommodation, and our aim is to allow our tenants to grow within the estate. Occupier demand has been high, indeed we have recently completed another two deals at the park to Epros and Freespirit Leisure, and have let 150,000 sq ft in the past 6 months alone.”
Part of Follingsby’s success is its easy access to the A194, A19 and A1. Construction is underway on two units of 60,000 sq ft and 40,000 sq ft, and another 54,500 sq ft for smaller units. DTZ’s Nick Atkinson, who is advising Evans on the scheme said: “Follingsby continues to prove itself as one of the regions best industrial schemes, and we are confident that the strong demand experienced to date will persist.”
