Key Safety Systems, the supplier of automotive safety systems has selected Ryder for logistics management services supporting all of Key Safety’s European and North American operations.
“Our decision to outsource logistics and transport management functions to Ryder was primarily driven by their expertise in the automotive industry and ability to leverage their transport buying power,” said Steve DuBuc, senior vice president of global purchasing.
Ryder will develop and manage a customised transport operation to optimise Key Safety’s supply chain. Ryder provides these services through a turnkey transport system that includes carrier procurement and management, logistics engineering, freight bill audit and payment, claims management, and shipment planning and execution.
