ABX Belgium Distribution has chosen FKI Logistex for a 1.5 million euro five-year support and service agreement for its Brussels-based parcel sortation facility.
Lieven Vanhoutte, performance management at ABX, said: “Working continuously in a high pressure, high throughput environment with ultra-tight delivery deadlines, we must minimise expensive and time consuming down time, this has been achieved over the past 10 years with the assistance of an excellent working relationship with FKI Logistex Customer Service and Support. As a result, we have again awarded FKI Logistex a five-year service contract to cover this key part of our parcel distribution operations in Brussels.
ABX has been operating its Logistex S 2000TT tilt-tray sortation system since 1994. This unit is one of a number of reliable, low maintenance models, which have helped position FKI Logistex as a global leader in the design, build, and installation of automated, high-speed sortation solutions as illustrated by an installed customer base numbering thousands worldwide.
