Gefco is rolling out e-Fleet – a web portal used to manage and monitor vehicle fleets from when they first go on the road to when they are sold on the used vehicle market. It monitors vehicle life cycles in real time for all participants in the fleet logistics chain, including automotive manufacturers, short- and long-term rental companies, the dealership network, auction houses and logistics operators.
The e-Fleet portal can be used to manage and monitor all of the operations included in preparing and delivering new vehicles and selling them on the used vehicle market.
Gefco uses this tool to manage logistics, including transport and storage, together with a number of administrative and technical services, such as value-added expertise, transfer of administrative documents, inspection of repurchasing methods, transfer of property between rental company and manufacturer, and setting the commercial policy for resale. Unique in the breadth of its value-added services, e-Fleet also features a sales module for used vehicle professionals.
