Cert FMCG has won a logistics contract with CereVina, importer and distributor of Bollywood beer.
The company launched the specialist brand in the UK last month. The operation will be based at Cert’s 106,000sq ft distribution centre in Middleton, Manchester and will involve the storage and deliveries of Bollywood beer to restaurants across the UK. Orders will be downloaded via Cert’s web based ordering and stock monitoring system, Cert online. All deliveries will be carried out by Cert’s transport network.
Paul Campbell, managing director at CereVina said “Over a short period of time, sales of Bollywood Beer have increased dramatically and with more and more product being imported into the UK, we required a logistics partner that could store our merchandise ‘under bond’ and who could also adapt and react quickly to the rapid growth of our business.”
