Carousel has chosen ByBox deliveries to help improve its service flexibility. The 3PL collects shipments at late cut-off times in Germany and transports them by air and road to arrive in the UK the next day. However, when customers need to make last minute changes to delivery times, Carousel’s existing carriers cannot adapt fast enough. To ensure a speedier delivery without compromising cut-off times, the company says it needs the help of ByBox’s in-night electronic box delivery system.
Currently the 3PL is moving 100 shipments a night using the ByBox system. It is now looking to integrate the system into other areas of its business.
