Innovate Logistics, temperature controlled storage and distribution provider, will procure 185 of Volvo’s Euro 4 trucks over the next 12 months. The new additions will render its fleet almost 550 strong. Volvo has promised that the fuel performance of the models has improved five per cent since the previous Euro 3 trucks.
Pete Osborne, chief executive officer at Innovate said: “Right now, the Euro 4s are at the pinnacle in truck technology. We can cut costs and reduce our emissions in one move.” Both continuous fleet replacement and immediate new contract requirements will be met by the 288 Euro 4s.
