Briggs Equipment, the Cat lift truck distributor, has won a one year extension to its deal with RS Components to carry out its Truckcare maintenance programme.
Briggs will provide preventative maintenance for RS Components’ fleet of 65 pieces of materials handling equipment helping to minimise fleet downtime. Briggs will also put in place an individual maintenance schedule for each piece of equipment and arrange all service and safety checks at regular intervals. A resident engineer is also permanently situated on RS Components’ site in Nuneaton.
“Key to our decision to extend our contract with Briggs, is the expertise of its on-site engineer. Our primary aim is to keep all our equipment up and running at all times and Briggs ensures this happens,” said Charles Hiscock, plant and services manager at RS Components.
