Nigel Butler is joining Renault Trucks as sales and marketing director, replacing Bruce Allison, who retires as the end of June. He joins from Paccar Finance, where he was retail fleet sales manager.
Butler has worked in the commercial vehicle industry since leaving school. He initially joined Seddon Atkinson as a technical apprentice in 1981 and spent eleven years at the company in a variety of roles before moving to Foden, where he was regional sales manager for three years. From there, he moved to ERF as national account manager for 5½ years.
He went back to Foden in 2002 as UK sales manager. He was instrumental in managing the retirement of the Foden brand in 2005, moving from there to his last role at Paccar Finance.
