US express giant FedEx has chosen Iveco as a partner following the delivery of sixty new Iveco Daily vans.
The vehicles are in the process of entering service in the UK, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and Ireland.
Each vehicle is based on the Daily 35S12 model and has a partition and internal shelving system, together with a wide sliding side door and twin rear doors offering 270 degree opening for maximum ease of loading. Each of the new vehicles is powered by a 2.3 litre HPI engine delivering up to 116 hp.
After evaluating all the major competitors, FedEx selected the Daily for its distribution fleet based on the vehicle’s all-round performance – in particular the cab ergonomics, combined with the array of possible load compartment configurations available.
