Güdel, Swiss automation systems manufacturer, has launched a logistics division in the UK, headquartered in Coventry. The company opened the site to visitors for four days, where it unveiled its latest gantry technology and demonstrated how it can be used for palletising, order picking and buffer storage.
Also on show was an articulated robot which demonstrated the use of vision systems for high-speed pick-and-place operations.
