Agility Systems has won a contract to supply Susuki’s parts distribution centre in Milton Keynes, with an RF barcode warehouse system to improve the efficiency of the firm’s UK operations. The system provides hand held and fork truck RF barcode terminals to improve goods tracking, as well as advanced receiving capabilities to increase efficiency of accepting goods into the warehouse.
Wayne Dye, general manager at Susuki, said: “Once implemented, the system will give us much better control over our inventory, and we should see a marked improvement in accuracy. This will have huge benefits on our productivity, making it a thoroughly worthwhile investment.”
