Ryder is supplying 26 DAF CF430 tractor units and 102 13.6 metre double deck trailers to parcel network City Link. The tractor units and double deck trailers are based at City Link’s hubs in Wednesbury and Coventry.
“City Link operates a strict policy of dual sourcing,” said Mo Kafu, operations director of City Link. “We had previously sourced trunkers from both Fraikin and Lex. However, when Fraikin acquired Lex we sought another supplier and chose Ryder based on our previous good experience of working with the company.”
