Equipment and services supplier, Daher has opened an operations centre in Bristol. The site will enable the company to provide integrated logistic support to the aerospace and defence market in the Bristol area. This will include managing the flow of components to production lines, managing ground support equipment and providing local account management and development facilities.
Chris Melrose, chairman of Daher in the UK, said: “The UK is an important marketplace for Daher and this investment confirms our desire to grow. Even though we suffered a major fire in our Derby facility at the beginning of this year we have been determined to keep moving forwards and investing in our future and this new facility in Bristol is a major step forwards.”
