Cat lift truck dealer Briggs Equipment UK, has won a £500,000 contract to supply Uniq Prepared Foods with a range of materials handling equipment including counterbalance and reach trucks. The equipment will be delivered to Uniq’s St Ivel site in Minsterly, Shropshire.
“The critical component of the deal was the level of equipment maintenance and support that Briggs can offer. Downtime is a cost we are keen to avoid as it affects capacity and productivity. We felt that Briggs Equipment offered the right deal”, said Adele Mills, purchasing manager, Uniq.
